Market and craft stalls

A register for your stall that costs nothing

At a market the line moves fast and the signal comes and goes. PayBrisk is a register on your phone and a page customers scan: tap what they're buying, they pay in the app they already have, and the sale is counted. No card reader, no monthly plan and no PayBrisk fee.

How a sale goes

  1. 1Save your items and prices, add how you take money, and print a sign for your table.
  2. 2Ring up a sale on your phone, or let the customer scan your sign and tap what they want. Their app opens with the total in it.
  3. 3At closing, the end-of-day sheet adds up what came in by each app and in cash, ready to send to your market manager.

What helps

  • Works with no signal

Sales you ring up offline are kept on your phone and sent when it reconnects.

How it works: Works with no signal
  • Pre-orders for pickup

Customers can reserve items for your next market day from your page, and you get a pickup list.

  • Market tokens

Switch on market tokens and they count as their own line, kept out of your cash total.

    How it works: Market tokens
  • One page for the whole market

A manager, or any stall, can make one page listing every stall and who is coming next.

How it works: One page for the whole market

Hollow Creek Bakery

Saturday market

  • Sourdough loaf × 2$18.00
  • Cinnamon rolls, box$14.00
  • Jam, 8 oz$9.00
Total$41.00

The business and the prices are made up. Your customer taps the items and pays in their own app.

What it does not do

  • It does not take cards. Customers pay in their own payment app or in cash.
  • It does not book stalls or collect stall fees for a market.
  • Venmo and Cash App ask anyone selling things to use a business profile, which has its own fee. PayBrisk adds nothing on top.

What it costs

  • PayBrisk is free: no plan, no monthly fee and no cut of your sales.
  • Cash costs nothing. Payment apps set their own terms for business profiles.

Questions

Everything else is on the full FAQ.

Can I take payments in person, at a stall or a truck?
Yes, that is what it is for. Claim paybrisk.app/yourname and add what you sell, and your page becomes a menu: a customer scans your sign, taps what they want and pays the total in whichever app they use while you serve somebody else. When there is a line, open Register on your dashboard, tap the items, and show the customer a QR code with the total filled in. Both keep working with no signal once you switch on offline mode.
Can customers find me after market day, or see my whole market?
Yes. Set Where you'll be next on your dashboard, a day and a line like "Riverside market, 8 to 1, blue tent", and it shows under your name on your page until the day has passed. To put a whole market on one link, open Make a page for your whole market, pick an address like paybrisk.app/m/riverside and add each stall by its PayBrisk link. Shoppers see every stall, with the ones coming next at the top, and tap through to each one's menu. A stall that was added can take itself off.
Does PayBrisk keep a record I can use at tax time?
Yes. Sales from your register and your menu count whichever app they came by, so Cash App, Venmo, Zelle and cash end up in one record instead of four statements. Every customer you have billed gets a page showing what they owe you and what they have paid. Your year summary shows what came in each month and by which app, with sales tax and tips on their own lines, and downloads as two spreadsheets: one by month and one with every payment. It counts what you mark paid. It is a record, not tax advice.
